ingredients
- 1 cup macaroni, cooked &,drained as directed
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup cottage cheese
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (or colby, mozzarella)
- 2 eggs, beaten
directions
- Mix all together and put in greased pan.
- Bake at 325 degrees for 30-40 minutes, or until set or browned on top.

This was insanely good! I followed the directions exactly, except for only using one egg. I discovered halfway into the prep that I only had one left. It didn't seem to matter, though, and this came out very well and set quite nicely even though it was technically "missing" an egg. I used lite sour cream and lite cottage cheese also.

This is a nice change from the typical mac & cheese recipes that use butter and milk. I really like all of the ingredients in this dish, but I think it may be just a bit rich for me and I will make it again using half the amount of sour cream. This is easy to make and it does taste good. I would definitely recommend giving this a try.
