Low Sodium Steak Rub

"I found this on lowsodiumcooking.com, the smell of the steak under the broiler is pretty amazing. Mix the rub and keep it handy in an airtight container."

• Serves: 10

ingredients

• 1 tablespoon paprika
• 1 tablespoon chili powder
• 1 tablespoon black pepper
• 1⁄2 teaspoon cayenne
• 1⁄2 teaspoon garlic powder
• 1⁄4 teaspoon dill seed
• 1⁄4 teaspoon celery seed

directions

1. Mix all.
2. Rub generously on steak or chops.
3. Enjoy.

DH just learned that he had to forego as much salt as possible so this was a blessing!! He said he hardly missed the salt and it also let the flavor of the meat come through. Thanks Chef - I made a double batch and put it in a shaker for future use!
