  1. I've never been to a Lone Star Steakhouse, so don't know how this compares. It was simple and very good. I made it as directed except that I had to use an orange bell pepper as my green one went bad. Thanks Todd Arrants for sharing. Made for PAC Spring 2010.

  2. Recipe is exact except for I believe it calls for granulated garlic. Also not sure if it was mentioned the onions should be browned or softened before hand, then add the beef to brown. After combine all ingredients then simmer. Enjoy.

  3. Nice tasting chili. DH and I enjoyed it. I've never seen a chili recipe that didn't call for kidney beans so I added a 8 oz can white kidey beans.

  4. Surprise, surprise ~ "Texas Pete" hot sauce wasn't as hard to find as I first though it would be, although I did end up buying it online! I did, however, cut back a little on its use, at least this 1st time! And, although I most often make chili with chicken (or as in the last time, as a vegetarian dish), the ground beef was a nice change from all that, so thanks for sharing your recipe with us!
