  • Cream butter and sugar.
  • Add egg and vanilla & beat well.
  • Sift flour and baking powder together and mix inches.
  • Refrigerate 2-3 hours.
  • Roll out to 1/4 inch. Cut out.
  • Bake on ungreased cookie sheet for 8-10 minutes at 400 degrees.
  • Ice with Easy cream icing.
  • Dough can be kept in the fridge for several days. Or freeze and thaw out later.
