ingredients
- 1 1⁄2 cups butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 egg, well-beaten
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 4 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder

Easy cream icing
- 1 cup powdered sugar, sifted
- 1⁄2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 1⁄2 tablespoons whole milk
directions
- Cream butter and sugar.
- Add egg and vanilla & beat well.
- Sift flour and baking powder together and mix inches.
- Refrigerate 2-3 hours.
- Roll out to 1/4 inch. Cut out.
- Bake on ungreased cookie sheet for 8-10 minutes at 400 degrees.
- Ice with Easy cream icing.
- Dough can be kept in the fridge for several days. Or freeze and thaw out later.
