Lightly Glazed Carrots

"I make these when I make turkey dinners for Thanksgiving and Christmas. They are glazed but not overly so that they still mix well with all the other fixings that go along with turkey, gravy, potatoes, stuffing, etc..."

  • Boil or steam carrots in lightly salted water until tender, about 10 minutes.
  • Drain and return carrots to pot.
  • Add butter and brown sugar, stirring over medium heat for about 2 minutes, until "glazed".
  • Serve.
