  1. Made these for a fund raising meeting, they all loved them. Cookies were lemony and moist. I had some plain, and others with just a hint of vanilla frosting.

  2. SIMPLY AWESOME!! I was looking for something a little different, had everything the recipe needed & whipped these up. I never used cool whip in my baking so I was a little skeptical...These cookies are delectable; with a really nice texture, soft, with just the right amount of lemon..they're also very pretty. I'll be making these regularly. Thanks

  3. the girl at work added 3 tablespoons oil to this recipe they were very good . she also called them lemon cracle cookies

  4. These cookies turn out like a lemon version of chocolate crinkles- tasty and lemony. The texture is more chewy than cakey and the cookies really spread out on the sheet so be sure to leave enough room between the cookies while baking! I also ended up adding 6 oz. of Cool whip and a little bit of the powdered sugar into the mix before rolling in remaining sugar- it worked out fine! Also, the dough was really, really sticky (not stiff at all!) but the results were yummy!

I am a housewife, I love to cook and experiment with different spices and flavors, there are not many recipe ideas I will not try. EXCEPT! anything that is extremely HOT and SPICY, I have a allot of family members living here and most of us spend the holidays together. We all Love to eat and look forward to the different AND the traditional recipes on the Holidays. My pet peeve...HUM it makes me crazy when someone cooks and leaves the mess pile up, It's easier to clean as you go, that way when the food is done you can actually sit down and enjoy it. I am very passionate about and being apart of the fight to prevent animal cruelty, and helping to educate people about what happens to Children or Pets left in vehicles on very hot or very cold days, also Pets left in extreme elements outside without the proper necessities. I believe that anyone that purposely harms or torturers a child or a animal is a Coward!
