12/10 O M G! 5 stars x 5! If this appetizer doesn't knock your socks off, you're not wearing any! This is the MOST amazing appetizer I have ever had. I served with apple slices & wheat crackers. There was not a bit left. I wanted to lick the serving dish. UPDATE: Like a dope I thought I'd try a lower fat brie, my advise, DON'T do it. You're recipe will fail! Get the real deal or don't bother making it. It was awful!

SO very delicious - we scarfed this down! I reduced the recipe to 1/4 -1/3 of the ingredients, for the 2 of us, and it was gone, lickety split! We've had various versions of this, but never one with Kahlua, which piqued my interest! After topping the brie with nuts, it only took 45 seconds in the microwave - so fast! I will definitely be making this again, and sharing with my friends! Thank you for sharing, Audrey M.

Oh my goodness! Is this the easiest and best appetizer to make for company. Your guests will think you worked long and hard on this one! Since I needed a "non-alcohol" version this time, I substituted STRONG coffee with a little chocolate added for the Kahlua ... I will try the Kahlua next time. Thanks, Audrey!

I am a mother of three and live in central Pennsylvania. My children were very active in after school activities and found we weren't spending anytime together at meal time. In 1998, I decided to start cooking my dinners in a crockpot so that we could have a home cooked meal together once everyone came home. My children now get so excited to see what we are having to eat and love the smell when they walk in the door. My family calls me the crock pot queen. LOL I use my crock pot everyday of the year.
My three children are now in college and before they come home they request their favorite meal. I still continue to cook in the crock pot for my husband and I. It is nice after a long day to know your meal is ready. It also helps in keeping my grocery bill down. With zaar, I can print my shopping list and that is all I purchase is the ingredients on that list.
Now, my two daughters have been crock pot cooking while in college. They find it is easy to cook for the themselves and their friends. It is an easy way to have friends over for dinner after classes
I still love trying new recipes and purchasing cookbooks, especially crock pot cookbooks.
