Made for your 2nd Football Pool win, these cookies are an easy-fix, lightly sweet & buttery soft. My yield was as expected & a cook time of 11 min was ideal. We loved the cookies. What we were less fond of was the icing. Altho icing is sweet by its very nature, this was too sweet for us, the amt was excessive & the consistency seemed off. It did not work to dip the cookies or even spread the icing atop them. I added butter to the icing & then it spread easily. I saved the last cookie, tried a taste test w/a dusting of powd sugar & that was our pers pref. Congrats on your FP win & thx for sharing this recipe w/us.
