  1. I can't tell you how happy I was to run upon this! This is a replica of a lost recipe of an old favorite (from High School Home Ec. Class)... To the best of my knowledge, the ingredients and proportions are just exactly the same as the lost recipe. Last night, I had my first opportunity to make this. The results were nothing short of wonderful wonderful, just as I remembered from the old days! It is the first time I have ever served this to my family, and everyone was very impressed! Thanks, Nurse Di for submitting this great chicken recipe...thanks for putting my recipe search to a happy end!

  2. We enjoyed this recipe. I was not really sure what temperature to cook the casserole. The oven temperature was not included in the recipe. We did find this to have a bit too much mayonnaise

  3. This was just too tart for us. I used Hellman's Light but it just didn't suit or tastes.

  4. I love this recipe! It harks back to a time when people actually knew how to cook "from scratch". I get so tired of recipes that use only expensive convenience foods. We never keep potato chips in the house, so I used buttered dried crumbs (I make my own from homemade bread) and a four cheese Tex-Mex blend. It was delicious!! I thought the amount of mayo was just right (and I did use Hellman's). It wasn't too dry or too goopy. Simple, inexpensive and quite filling. Di, thank you for a wonderful recipe! It's a keeper!!

  5. This was pretty good but is so close to the Poppyseed Chicken casserole that I prefer. Thanks for posting it!
