These rolls were good... but be warned, the quantity given makes 12 dinner rolls, not 12 bread rolls! I waited forever for them to get bigger! Also in my opinion they are WAY too sweet, I'd probably cut almost all the sugar out and put in just a teaspoon. They were really soft on the outside, and I prefer a crunchy roll, so I think I'll keep looking for another recipe. Thanks!

Excellent rolls!! I don't have a bread machine so I just added the same amount of dried yeast and 1 teaspoon of the sugar to the cup of water (which was lukewarm). After the yeast mixture was nice and frothy I added it to the other ingredients (in my stand mixer). I did reduce the entire amount of sugar to 2 tablespoons. I mixed on a medium-low speed for 8 minutes and then covered the bowl and let rise for 50 minutes. I then punched down and shaped the rolls, letting them rise for another 30 minutes. I brushed the top of the rolls with cold water and sprinkled with sesame seeds and baked at 190C for 14 minutes. I was really happy with the look and the taste of these rolls and will definitely make them again. Thanks so much for the recipe!
