ingredients
- 6 eggs (well beaten)
- 3 3⁄4 cups sugar
- 2 1⁄4 tablespoons vanilla
- 3⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 2 quarts half-and-half
- 2 pints whipping cream
- 3 cups 2% low-fat milk (2%)
directions
- Combine sugar and eggs, adding one egg at a time beating well after each addition.
- Once eggs and sugar are mixed and have become very stiff, add remaining ingrediants and mix throughly.
- Pour into ice cream maker's freezer.
- Freeze as directed.
