  1. Yummy dipping sauce. I added a bit of sambal olek chili paste. BTW, I've found that the best black vinegar is Gold Plum Chinkiang Vinegar. It can be found in Asian grocery stores, Amazon, or eBay.

  2. Four stars - really good. I made this as stated and it's very good, just a bit thin to remain on (or in) the pot sticker. The second time I also added black bean sauce and liked that, plus it was thicker. If you want it spicier, just add some crushed red pepper or a bit of sriracha. A keeper, thanks for posting, Wendys Kitchen, I'll use this one again!

  3. Have been trying to eat in more and bought some gyoza at Trader Joe's this past week. Needed a dipping sauce and choose this one because it had a good hit of ginger, a favorite. I didn't have black vinegar and read that balsamic with a bit of sugar would be a good substitute. The sauce was really good with a nice blend of flavors. Did add a little extra vinegar because I do like tang. Came together in a jiff and will certainly make often. Made for the Bargain Basement Game.
