Guacamole Dip

"I acquired this recipe from a wonderful cook at Y.O.Ranch in Kerville, Texas. I worked there one summer at a camp they had on the ranch. This was as a memorable time in my life, and I'm still friends with some of the counselors I worked with. This recipe is a little different, but has always been a hit!"

• Yields: 3 Cups

ingredients

• 1 -2 soft avocado, diced
• 1⁄2 cup mayonnaise
• 1 small tomatoes, seeded and diced
• 1⁄4 cup onion, diced
• 1⁄3 cup salsa
• 1 teaspoon garlic
• 1 tablespoon lemons or 1 tablespoon lime juice
• 1⁄2 teaspoon salt (to taste)

directions

1. Mix all ingredients, cover and chill for an hour before serving.

A nice flavored dip that works well with a verity of dippers! While I am more the traditional Guacamole type my DH who prefers mellower flavors really enjoyed it. I made as written and found that as well as corn chips we also enjoyed dipping red bell peppers and sweet potato crackers. Thanks for the post.
