Grilled Chile Pepper Cheeseburgers

  • In a medium bowl, combine green onion, yogurt, jalapenos, pepper and salt. Add beef and mix well.
  • Shape beef mixture into 8 patties about 3/4 inch thick. Place wax paper between the patties and freeze in a 1-gallon freezer bag.
  • To prepare, thaw patties in the refrigerator. Grill until no pink remains in the center. Turn once. Top each patty with cheese the last 2 minutes of grilling time.
