Grilled Cheese With Bacon & Pear

- 4 slices thick bread
- 4 slices bacon, cooked
- 1 pear, thinly sliced (Bartlett or Bosc)
- 2 -3 slices sharp cheddar cheese, sliced (may use white cheddar)
- 1 tablespoon butter, for spreading
directions
- Butter one side of each piece of bread.
- Spray a pan with cooking spray; heat pan.
- Place two pieces of the bread in the pan, butter side down, and top with cheese (1 to 1.5 slices), two slices of cooked bacon, and a few pear slices.
- Grill over medium heat until bread is nicely browned and flip. Continue to grill until other side is browned and cheese is melted.
- Cut each sandwich diagonally for that classic grilled cheese look and serve while hot and toasty.
