DIRECTIONS

  • Process onions and tomatoes and peppers till desired fineness.
  • We prefer it chunky.
  • Cover with pickling salt,and let stand overnight.
  • Drain well.
  • Cover with cold water and bring to a boil.
  • Drain.
  • Return to pot and nearly cover with malt vinegar.
  • Cook till tender.
  • Put spices in a bag,add sugar and molasses.
  • Finish cooking till thick and tender.
  • Watch carefully as not to burn.
  • Bottle as usual.
