    (1 3/4 ounce) envelope lipton's dry onion soup mix
  • 13
    cup Heinz Chili Sauce (the bottled one with the tarter sauces on grocery shelf)
  • 14
    cup finely diced celery
  • 14
    cup onion, grated
  • 2
    cups Grape-nuts cereal

DIRECTIONS

  • In large bowl, whisk eggs, V-8 juice, onion soup mix and chili sauce; Add onion and celery; Work in grape-nuts (mixture will resemble meatloaf); Cover and refrigerate 4-5 hours or overnight.
  • Form into patties, brown well on both sides in equal amounts of oil and margarine; Serve on buns
  • Or you can put them in a 9x13 casserole and bake them in the over (350) for 30 minutes covered in spaghetti sauce.
