Grape Butter

"This was another of Libby's old newspaper clipping recipes. I haven't tried it yet but it looks good. This is an old one so I'm guessing until I make it."

 

• Ready In: 4hrs
• Ingredients: 3
• Yields: 3 pints

ingredients

• 4 quarts grapes
• 1 quart apple, chopped
• 3 quarts sugar

directions

1. Mash grapes and cook in a large saucepan.
2. Press through a sieve back into the saucepan.
3. Add apples and sugar; cook until thick.
4. Plum butter may be cooked in the same way.
5. This is the whole recipe. I think directions on ball may come in handy.
