Grandma Lu's Oatmeal Cookies

"These are great soft chewy cake like cookies. They remind everyone of a muffin top meets a cookie.Hint* They are moist, they won't be moist if you over bake them thinking they will flatten out. These aren't meant to be flat cookies.Sorry about not posting this before Shirl J. Also most cookies you'll find are either meant to be cake like,or flat chewy consistency."

  1. I don't know what happened, maybe I messed up. The cookies were dry and didn't form "down" (not sure how to say that) they stayed in a mound just as I put them on the sheet. When I first looked at the recipe it seemed to me like there was not enough liquid for the amount of dry ingredients. I want to try making them again though and I hope someone else makes them Id love to hear more reviews and see if it is maybe something I did wrong. They still tasted ok but I have to rack my brain now and see if I goofed up. All in all a good recipe though Farah.
