Bottom layer
- 1⁄2 cup butter
- 1⁄4 cup granulated sugar
- 5 tablespoons cocoa
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 3⁄4 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1 cup coconut flakes (unsweetened)
- 1⁄2 cup chopped walnuts

middle layer
- 1⁄2 cup butter
- 2 cups icing sugar
- 2 tablespoons custard powder
- 1 tablespoon milk (approximately)

top layer
- 2 unsweetened chocolate squares
- 1 semi-sweet chocolate square
- 3 tablespoons butter
directions
- Line or grease a 9x9" square pan.
- Bottom layer: Melt butter, sugar, and cocoa together over low heat. Remove from heat then add egg, vanilla, graham crumbs, coconut and nuts. Knead and press into 9" square pan.
- Middle layer: mix softened butter, icing sugar and custard powder. Add milk carefully until icing consistency, about 1 tablespoons Spread over bottom layer.
- Top layer: Melt chocolates with butter over low heat. Pour on top, shake pan to spread and chill.
- Score the lines in chocolate layer to create 6x6 or 36 squares while top has not fully set.
- When cool, cut into squares and refrigerate or freeze.
