- 1 lb hot dog
- 1⁄4 cup white vinegar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1⁄3 cup soy sauce
- 1⁄4 cup water
- 4 tablespoons brown sugar
- 4 tablespoons honey
- 1⁄2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1⁄2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1⁄8 teaspoon cayenne
- 1⁄8 teaspoon ground cloves
directions
- Cut hot dogs into bite size pieces, set aside. In a bowl blend vinegar and cornstarch. Add soy sauce, water, brown sugar, honey, ginger, garlic powder, cayenne and cloves. Mix well. Pour into microwave safe 8x8 dish. Microwave uncovered on high 6 minutes or until thickened, stirring every 2 minutes. Stir hotdogs into sauce on MEDIUM heat 10 minutes until thoroughly heated, stirring once.
