  1. This recipe was quick to prepare, and really delicious. The whole family enjoyed it. Thanks!

  2. This replaces my previous review in which I found this dish to be very sweet & oily and gave it a rating of two. Possibly I was a little heavy handed with the butter and sugar, I don't know. Anyway, I made it again tonight using vegetable stock as last time, and cutting back a bit on the butter and sugar. We really enjoyed it! The asparagus came out a perfect tender/crisp, and the sauce had a delicately sweet flavour. It needed no salt or pepper. Thanks, Barb!

  3. This is an excellent way to prepare asparagus! I made exactly as posted and it is so simple and the flavor is wonderful. The asparagus is still a little crunchy with just the right sweetness. This recipe will be going into my keeper cookbook! Thank you for posting!
