- 1⁄2 lb linguine, dry
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons garlic, minced
- 1⁄2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 3 tablespoons parmesan cheese, shredded
- salt, to taste
directions
- Cook linguine according to package directions in a large pot of boiling, salted water; drain.
- Heat oil, garlic, pepper flakes in a saucepan over medium-high heat while pasta cooks. Cook until garlic begins to sizzle, about 1 minute, then toss linguine with garlic oil mixture.

Served this with grilled chicken. This is definitely for garlic lovers. I used about 12 oz. penne pasta, and it was about right. We use more parmesan cheese too. This is quick, easy and tasted great. I will make it again. (AND no vampires are coming after me for at least a couple of days, I should think).
