directions
- put fish and potatoes in a large saucepan and cover with water.
- boil until potatoes are almost soft.
- drain until nearly dry.
- mash mixture together.
- stir in butter, egg, pepper and salt.
- beat until mixture is smooth.
- heat butter in large frying pan.
- form fish mixture into balls and fry in butter until well browned on all sides.
