Fabulous Chili Sin Carne Con Fijoles

ingredients
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 garlic clove, chopped
- 1 (12 ounce) package veggie crumbles
- 2 (14 1/2 ounce) cans beans, drained (I use kidney, black, or pinto)
- 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can chopped tomatoes
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1⁄4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (or to taste)
- 1 cup salsa
directions
- Heat oil in large pan, add chopped peppers and saute for 2-3 minutes.
- Add onion and saute for another 1-2 minutes.
- Add garlic and saute for 1 minute.
- Add the veggie crumbles (frozen) and cook for another 3-5 minutes.
- Add the remaining ingredients and heat through.
