I am a wife, mom and RN. I am not a gormet by any means! I like to cook good, homestyle food. I am a firm believer in eating less of what tastes good so there will always be plenty of butter in my cooking. My husband calls my food "good grub", hence my username.
Cooking is one of my few creative outlets as I am not in the least artistic. Cooking is chemistry---now that I can do! :) Good ingredients make good food so I usually cook from scratch.
