³⁄₄ cup butter, melted
1 ¹⁄₂ cups sugar
1 ¹⁄₂ teaspoons vanilla
3 large eggs
¹⁄₂ cup cocoa powder
³⁄₄ cup flour
¹⁄₂ teaspoon baking powder
1 cup nuts, toasted and chopped
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

directions

Heat oven to 350 degrees, grease a 13x9" pan. Beat butter, eggs, sugar, vanilla in a large bowl. Mix in cocoa, flour, baking powder and salt. Stir to combine. Stir in nuts and chips. Pour into pan. Bake 20-22 minutes.

Great tasting brownies for dessert tonight with a big scoop of Vanilla ice cream. I loved the toasted nuts in this recipe. Added a new dimension to just using regular walnuts. I will definately make these again sometime soon! Linda
