Cooking is a great stress relief for me! I love to grab things from my freezer and/or pantry and make a meal "off the cuff". I have found that spices and herbs are the secret to flavorful food. I have a spice cabinet with approx. 75 bottles of spices from Penzeys - my favorite spice store!
In the winter I love making bread with my Kitchenaid mixer. I will make 8 - 10 loaves a week and share with family, friends and neighbors. My most requested bread recipe is "Debbie's Foccacia".
Thankfully, both of my daughters, Jeni and Christy, have turned in to absolutely wonderful cooks and are passing their skills to their children. We love to cook together when we (rarely) get a chance.
