Dad's Chili Sauce

"From about mid-1960's, from an army cook near Novato, CA. Good as a relish or a sauce for meat. Best if allowed to "age" 1-2 weeks before used."

  • Combine all ingredients in large kettle, bring to boil, turn down to simmer.
  • Cook 3-4 hours until thick. Be careful to not scorch.
  • Pour into hot sterilized jars and seal.
