- 1 cup butter, unsalted, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs, large
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 3 1⁄4 cups flour, all purpose
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
directions
- Beat butter and sugar at medium speed until fluffy.
- Beat in Eggs, one at a time.
- Beat in vanilla & almond extract.
- In separate bowl, combine flour, backing powder and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients.
- Wrap dough in plastic wrap and refridgerate.
- Roll out dough, a little at a time, refrigerating the rest.
- Cut out and place on parchment paper covered baking sheet.
- Refrigerate for 10 minutes before baking.
- Back at 350 for 11 minutes.
- Let cool on rack for 2 minutes.
- Transfer to wire rack.
