- 2 1⁄4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup spreadable butter (buttery spread)
- 3⁄4 cup granulated sugar
- 3⁄4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon maple syrup
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups chocolate chips
directions
- Preheat you oven to 375° F.
- Mix flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl.
- Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract in large mixer bowl until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs, one at a time, until well incorporated.
- Slowly fold in flour mixture.
- Gently mix in chocolate chips
- Scoop out rounded tablespoons of dough and drop onto a parchment lined cookie sheet. Push down slightly with fingers to flatten.
- Bake for 9-11 minutes or until lightly browned.
- Allow to cool on cookie sheet for 2 minutes, then remove to cooling rack.
