- 4 (6 ounce) salmon fillets
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1⁄4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon salt
directions
- Heat your BBQ up to medium-high heat.
- Combine the oil and mustard in a bowl and dip the salmon into it covering both sides.
- Move salmon to a plate In another bowl combine the sugar, cinnamon, cumin, pepper and salt.
- Spread the spice mixture onto both sides of the salmon.
- Grill the salmon until it just begins to flake, about 4 minutes a side for 1-inch filets, or until it's done as desired.

This is a good way to make salmon. The primany taste is Cumin so unless you really love cumin don't use as much. I added garlic and ginger to the Oil and mustard. As my salmon had skin on one side I only treated the top side. There is no reason to turn over the salmon on the grill just cook it about 10-15 min with the top closed.
