Chocolate Chip Angel Bars

"These chocolate chip bars are the softest, thickest, chewiest cookies you will ever taste. They're perfect for those who hate crunchy cookies and crave the warm, soft bakery kind. They can even be frosted but taste absolutely wonderful just plain and can be made very quickly. I brought them to school once and everyone enjoyed them. Therefore, I thought I'd post this yummy recipe for you all to have! Cookbook: Mrs. Fields Cookie Book"

We all loved these. I made as written other then I used butter instead of margarine as that is all I had. I didn't add the optional pecans. Made for Fall PAC 2009.

Made these as a nice chane from the cookies I sometime make as well as from the bars we often have ~ I actually made two batches of these bars, one with the nuts & one without, & although I liked the nutless ones better, my guests devoured ALL of them, so . . . ! Will be keeping this recipe around, as these are worth including on my finger food counter! Thanks for sharing it! [Tagged, made & reviewed in New Kids on the Block tag]
