Chilie Relleno Casserole

- 2 (7 ounce) cans of ortega diced green chilies
- 2 (4 ounce) cans of ortega whole green chilies
- 1 lb monterey jack cheese, grated
- 1 dozen egg
- 1 (8 ounce) can evaporated milk
directions
- Preheat oven 375.
- 13x9 baking dish place a layer of the whole green chillies on the bottom. You must split them in half.
- Sprinkle a thin of cheese on top of whole chillies.
- Next layer will the diced green chillies.
- Repeat layers of diced chillies and cheese making sure the cheese is the last layer.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat eggs and evaporated milk.
- Pour mixture over the casserole.
- Place it in oven and let bake 35-40 minute.
