Chili for All!

"A friend cooked this, then gave me the recipe absolutely wonderful. My family makes me cook this at least once a week. We eat it by itself, on chil dogs, over rice, frito pies, but the best way is with sweet yellow cornbread. This will make a nice size pot. Did not put how much of each of the spices, you take and do these to your taste. I like lots of garlic. To make this quick to make buy the frozen onions and peppers. Have not cooked this in crock pot but would be great that too. Enjoy."

  • Brown hamburger, drain and set aside.
  • In pot you will be using for chili cook onions, peppers, celery with a little olive oil until almost tender.
  • Add to pot beans, tomato sauces, tomato juices, add your spices until you have it to your taste.
  • add meat
  • simmer for at least 45 minutes still adding spices to make it yours.
