Cherries With Almonds and Mint

"A Gordon Ramsey recipe and a sweet treat for times when cherries are plentiful. This can be made without the alcohol and any other type of nut can be substituted. This is great served hot over vanilla ice cream."

I am a new mom and I love it. I teach high school science, so I enjoy understanding the science of cooking. My husband is a sous chef and as great as that sounds, he cooks for other most night and I eat by myself...not counting a dog and baby.
