Celery root fries are the closest thing to a potato french fry I've found so far. In a bowl, I like to coat the fries in oil and then sprinkle a GENEROUS amount of Kraft Parmesan cheese all over them, along with salt and pepper. Mix it all up and spread out on the baking sheet. They come out crispier this way. Then I also have sugar free ketchup on hand to top it off. My go to for missed French fries!

I've never had celery root, have wandered by it in the produce aisle looking longingly at it...really wanted to try it. So I took the leap.....so glad I did! I'd rather have these than fries any day! The celery root has a bit of spice, and the addition of the cajun seasoning puts this over the top! I needed no ketchup or sauce of any kind. These fries stand on their own! Thanks Deb for introducing me to a veggie I've wanted to try for a while! Looking forward to finding other uses for this wonderful vegetable! Made for PRMR tag.
