Brer Rabbit's Gingerbread Waffles

• Ingredients: 10
• Serves: 4

ingredients

• 2 cups flour
• 1⁄2 teaspoon cinnamon
• 1 1⁄2 teaspoons ginger
• 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
• 1 cup molasses
• 1⁄3 cup butter
• 1 1⁄2 teaspoons baking soda
• 1⁄2 cup milk, sour
• 1 egg

• topping

• 1 cup whipped cream

directions

1. heat to boiling point but dont boil molasses and butter.
2. add baking soda.
3. add sour milk.
4. sifted dry ingredients.
5. bake in hot waffle iron.
6. serve in 1/4's with whipped cream in between.
