I took this to Thanksgiving dinner since my mom said she thought we would be short desserts. Well, there were several pies there, and this was *still* the first thing gone, and I had requests for the recipe. This tastes great with ice cream or whipped cream on the side. Thanks for a new holiday favorite! P.S. I made this in the 9x13 inch pan, but it sould be fun to make it as a pizza for a pizza party or something!

These are pretty little bars that will impress others. They look and taste like you spent a lot of time in the kitchen, but they are simple to put together. I used the 21 ounce can of blueberries, but wanted a thicker blueberry layer, so I added some frozen blueberries that I heated up with cornstarch and sugar. Thank you for the great recipe.

I made this for a lunch, substituting blueberry filling for strawberry. It smelled too yummy when it came out of the oven, so I couldnt resist and cut a piece, causing the filling to ooze out. It was as good when warm as it was at room temperature, and tasted just like the nutri-grain bars. This is what I am going to make when I feel like having the bars! Thanks for sharing :)

Very good! I took this dessert to a family Pool Party/BBQ. It was met with RAVE reviews. I used pecans & followed the recipe exactly. Because of timing issues, I had to make this recipe 36 hours before the party & stored in the fridge wrapped tightly in plastic wrap. I think this is why the dessert was more soft & cakey than crunchy like I expected. But, I'd be willing to bet this would be great warm with vanilla ice-cream!!
