BLT Bites (Stuffed Cherry Tomatoes)

BLT Bites (Stuffed Cherry Tomatoes) created by TheGrumpyChef

These are so yummy. They taste just like a BLT sandwich without the bread. I made these for thanksgiving and they disappeared in less than 10 minutes! They are so yummy and they look great for entertaining!

Does anybody know if the tomato contents that you scoop out should be discarded, or should it be used in the filling?

Took these to a church event & they were a hit! Everyone wanted the recipe. They were a bit tedious but well worth the effort. I used 2 packages of cherry tomatoes (red & yellow--about 65 in all) and had enough filling left for a pack of larger sized grape tomatoes which I cut in half and filled both ends.for about 30 more pieces. Will be a staple for potlucks and holiday appetizers!

FANTASTIC! I made these for our game day party and we loved them. I cut them in half and that worked well for us. I wanted to use up some of the many cherry tomatoes we had in our garden and this was a perfect recipe. Thank you so much for sharing with us.
