- 1⁄2 cup cashews, soaked overnight in water then drained
- 1 cup unsweetened soymilk
- 1 garlic clove, peeled
- 1⁄2 small white onion, chopped
- 1⁄2 small red bell pepper, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon white miso
- 1⁄4 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 2 tablespoons nutritional yeast
directions
- Place all ingredients in blender jar and process until very smooth.
- Pour into a small saucepan and bring to a simmer. Stir constantly until thickened.
