Blueberries are one of my very favourite things to eat, so when I saw this recipe....I just had to make it. What a wonderful recipe. This is the sort of thing you'd find on the menu of an exclusive hotel or B&B. "Gourmet Oatmeal" Very quick to make too. You could also make the topping ahead of time and store in the cupboard. I can think of lots of things I could use it for!!! Great taste. Thanks for sharing QueenBee. I'll be making this often.

Ok, I know it says blueberry in the title, but I am not a fan, so I used raspberries instead. So very good and simple too. The toasting of the oats brings out a taste like Gamma's fresh apple crisp. I too added a little salt to my oatmeal, but that's just a personal preference. My kids loved having something special for breakfast, even my 6yo licked her bowl clean and she is the pickiest one! Very good, must be made again - and again. Thanks! :)

Very good recipe! I loved the addition of blueberries. I do not use frozen berries from the store, so I just used fresh berries and mixed very lightly. It worked fine and they kinda popped after cooking through for a bit. Loved the topping - I am planning on using that for some crumbles this summer too! Thanks Queen for a winner! (Sorry no picture - one of those mornings). Made for Zaar Chef Alphabet Soup game.
