Beefy Cabbage and Rice

  • 1 head cabbage, coarsely chopped
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 12 cup onion, chopped
  • 12 cup instant rice, uncooked
  • 12 teaspoon salt
  • 12 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can tomato soup
  • 1 12 cups water

  • Arrange cabbage in a lightly greased 13"x9" baking pan; set aside. Brown ground beef and onion in skillet over medium heat until beef is cooked; drain. Stir in rice, salt and pepper; pour over cabbage. Combine tomato soup and water in small saucepan and bring to a boil; pour this over the cabbage/meat. Cover tightly with aluminum foil and bake at 350 degrees for 1and 1/2 hours.

I live along the beautiful gulf coast in Alabama. I love to travel and I have traveled out west twice. Once I flew out and the next time I drove.
