ingredients
- 1 lb round steak, cubed (or ground beef)
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1⁄2 cup onion, chopped
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup sour cream (add just before serving)
- 1 (4 ounce) jar sliced mushrooms
- choice rice or noodles
directions
- Brown meat in oil, add garlic and onion.
- Add salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, broth, and soup to simmer.
- Simmer for 1 hour or until meat is tender.
- Add sour cream and mushrooms just before serving.
- Serve over rice or noodles.

My family loved this! Super yummy! I used ground beef and it just turned out so well. I even froze the leftovers into small containers for my daughter to use in her little dorm refrigerator/freezer and apparently, it freezes and thaws wonderfully! A comforting taste from home when you're far away... thanks jentim for a recipe we will use again and again!
