1. Made for Fall PAC 09, followed the recipe as given. I had no problem with it being runny, and believe it has something to do with the Slow Cooker and possibly even the size of the Slow Cooker. Using my large Slow Cooker I had no problems, instead of chunking the round steak I thinly sliced a half frozen round steak into very thin strips as this is how I always do my Stroganoff and love how the meat simply melts into your mouth. This recipe might use a bit more spice and just a touch more sour cream, depending on your tastes. Thank you for giving yet another keeper recipe.

 2. I made this for dinner today. The family loved it. I browned the beef with the onions in a skillet before putting it in the crockpot. I also had to sub for the sour cream and only used half of it. Next time I will try using fresh mushrooms too. Thanks for the recipe.

 3. It tasted good, but it was a little runny. I didn't add the sour cream until the last half an hour after I mixed it with 3 T of flour.

Hi my name is Andrea. I am a home schooling mom and love it! We have been without an oven for almost two years now. Due to cost at first, but then it became a great challenge to cook yummy meals without it.I have always enjoyed cooking, but over the last few years living in England and the ridiculously small kitchens it took a back seat. We do have a toaster oven, a pizza cooker, microwave, three skillets, an electric burner and a couple of crock pots. So most of the recipes will be crock pot ones and none use an oven or if they do just insert toaster oven lol.
I have started a OAM cooking day at our church and we are having a great time and Yummy meals!
