Awesome Meatloaf

"A meatloaf with a great twist!!! I got this recipe from a friend. My family loves it!"

• Ingredients: 8
• Serves: 4-5

ingredients

• 1 lb of thawed hamburger
• 1 egg
• 3⁄4 cup quick-cooking rolled oats
• 3 -4 cheese slices
• seasoning salt
• garlic salt
• pepper
• 1⁄2 cup Russian salad dressing

directions

1. Mix everything together. Then put 1/2 of hamburger mixture in, then 3-4 cheese slices, then the rest of the hamburger mixture.
2. Bake for 1 hour. 20 minutes before its finished, drizzle a bit more russian dressing on top.

OK, I confess...I don't do salt and I prefer fine breadcrumbs in my meatloaf...so with garlic powder instead of the salt and fine bread crumbs instead of the oats, I gave the recipe a go...The 'russian' dressing is a terrific idea! The meatloaf was moist and flavorful! Try this, you'll LIKE it!

I've tried lots of different meatloaf recipes but this is so far the BEST EVER. The cheese is such an added taste. Lots of flavor. My husband loves it and says it's a keeper recipe. Thanks for sharing it.
