Avocado Gelatin Salad

ingredients
- 2 envelopes unflavored gelatin
- 1⁄4 cup cold water
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 lemon, juice of
- 1 dash hot pepper sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄8 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon onion juice
- 2 ripe avocados
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup mayonnaise
directions
- Soften gelatin in cold water for 5 minutes.
- Dissolve softened gelatin,in boiling water.
- Add lemon juice, hot pepper sauce, salt, pepper, and onion juice.
- Cool.
- Stir in mashed avocado, sour cream, and mayonnaise.
- Beat to blend.
- Pour into 1 1/2 quart mold.
- Chill until firm.
