April's Spinach Salad

"My cousin, April, brings this amazing salad every Thanksgiving and everyone loves it. I hope you do too! You can also substitute Craisins and walnuts or pecans for strawberries and nuts for a nice holiday salad."

• Ingredients: 9
• Yields: 1 cup
• Serves: 6

ingredients

• 1⁄4 cup red wine vinegar
• 1⁄3 cup granulated sugar
• 1⁄2 cup olive oil
• 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
• 1 teaspoon onion salt
• 1⁄4 teaspoon black pepper
• 12 ounces fresh spinach
• 8 ounces sliced strawberries
• 1⁄2 cup almonds or 1/2 cup pine nuts

directions

1. Mix together red wine vinegar, sugar, oil, Worcestershire sauce, onion salt and pepper until sugar is dissolved. Can make ahead and store in jar in fridge.
2. Mix spinach, strawberries and nuts in separate bowl.
3. Add dressing when ready to serve.
