ingredients
- 5 cups apples (peeled, cored, and sliced)
- 5 1⁄2 tablespoons butter, softened
- 2⁄3 cup brown sugar (may use more if desired)
- 1⁄2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1⁄2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1⁄2 cup coach's 'steel-cut' oats
directions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- Evenly spread the apples in a 9 inch baking dish.
- Combine remaining ingredients until crumbly.
- Sprinkle the topping over the apples.
- Bake at 375 degrees for 30-35 minutes.

It's not right to rate lower because of something I did or didn't do. <br />***** ... Excellent! Tasted great with/without tweaking. <br />**** ... Loved It! Tasted great with/without tweaking. <br />No stars ... May be an excellent recipe but I was unable to get it to work for me. May or may not try again later. We don't all have the same taste preferences. I've found recipes with lots of five stars that just didn't work for me and some with less that I thought were great. <br />Thank you All for sharing!</p>
