I made this up from things I had lying around one night. It's awesome on flank steak and I bet it would be just as good on any other type of steak.
- 2 chipotle chiles in adobo, chopped
- 3 teaspoons adobo sauce
- 1 lime, juice of
- 3 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1⁄2 tablespoon red wine vinegar
- Shake all ingredients together in a jar.
- Rub into meat and let marinate for at least 1/2 hour.
- The longer the better.
I dont know what I did wrong, it was good but I was expecting a little bit more flavor. Will try again.
This is awesome - we like to use it on chicken.
my hubby gives this 5 stars! This works great when you are short on time. I plan to make my adobo sauce from scratch next time. I used the seasoning for my T-bone without the adobo sauce and rinsed the chili well as my palate cannot handle very hot..:( Guess for some of us that comes with age, sigh. Anyway, thanks for posting this! As we butcher our own beef, am always looking for different ways to prepare it. This is a keeper for me!
